Traccart ("we," "our," or "us") provides real-time asset tracking software for the hospitality industry. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our platform at traccart.com and our associated dashboard and mobile applications.
By using Traccart, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.
Account and staff information. When a hotel creates an account or invites staff, we collect names, email addresses, job roles, and login credentials (passwords are stored as hashed values — we never store plaintext passwords).
Hotel and property data. We collect property configuration entered during setup: hotel name, floor layouts, room counts, and beacon placement details.
Asset tracking data. Our hardware trackers report GPS/beacon-based location data, battery level, and movement events for each tracked cart. This data is associated with your property and stored securely.
Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the dashboard — pages visited, features used, and actions taken — to improve the product and diagnose issues.
Contact form submissions. If you contact us through our website, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Your data is stored on servers hosted by Railway (railway.app), a U.S.-based cloud infrastructure provider. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms before storage. API access requires authenticated tokens that expire periodically.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
